On Monday the 4th we went to Lancaster Maritime Museum to meet three vikings!

They were waiting for us inside a long boat house. First we met Olaf a big burly viking who told us the stories of his gods. Then we met Linden who showed us her house. How she made rope from wool and how to make flour. Finally we saw Erik who was an expert on weapons and also how they used them to protect themselves.

We had a super day where we learnt lots of new facts about viking life!

Kieran was very surprised that his urine would have been used to wash the yarn. We could have traded him for 3 cows as boys with red hair was seen to have the most useful urine!!!
