Reading, Running and bending the world
This week, in English, we had to re-write text non-chronological texts. In numeracy, we learned about the area of a shape and the perimeter of a 2-dimentional shape. In P.E we did some athletics, in particular, different ways of sprinting. Today we did some cooking; in cooking, we made many, many rock buns. Finally, in Topic, we learned about the different ways in which mountains are formed. For example, a fold mountain is created when two tectonic plates collide underneath the Earth’s crust. Over many years, the plates fold over one another, forcing the earth up, creating a mountain.
