Welcome Reception

Hello and welcome to the Morecambe Bay Family!

Welcome to Morecambe Bay Community Primary School, I am Mrs Roberts and I am the Early Years Leader and Reception teacher. I am so pleased that your child will be joining our Reception class family in September. This page will give you lots of information and an insight into what it is like in our Early Years Foundation Stage Unit.

Your child starting school is such an exciting time, but can also be a daunting prospect, so I wanted to let you know what will be happening over the next few months.

You will receive:

· An information pack sent by post, including a data collection form, consent forms, Pupil Premium funding information for those entitled to Free School Meals, an Early Years Unit Prospectus and a treat for your child from our Reception class family.

· An email with details about our Stay & Play sessions.

· A phone call from Mrs Roberts to introduce herself.
